Matsuri Festival - Phoenix, AZ

Team Asano made a trip to Phoenix this past weekend to visit family and had the chance to go to the Matsuri Festival.  Matsuri is all things Japanese - martial arts, traditional music & dance, bonsai trees, anime and of course good eats!  This event has been a part of my family for all 25 years as my mom been closely involved in seeing the festival grow to what it is today.

Doris, my mom, at work doing her thing for the kids!  Like I said, she has been a rockstar giving countless hours of her time to support the Japanese community in Phoenix.  Know they couldn't do it without her!  Nice work Mom!

Meet Mitch!  A husband,  a friend, a good brother, and an amazing artist (the man behind Scott Asano Photography web, marketing,etc..)!  I've heard the saying that "incredible people make people feel incredible!"  That's Mitch - caring, inspiring, funny, ALWAYS down for a good cup of coffee, loves a good movie and has a laugh that makes you laugh.
